Dr. Shelley Noble-Letort
Shelley Noble-Letort, PhD is a graduate of UCLA and Pacifica Graduate Institute. Her PhD research is the Mythological and Depth Psychological survey of Integrative Medicine and Global Health. Her community involvement includes environmental, therapeutic and philanthropic work for private and public schools, societies, and non-profit organizations.
Shelley comes from a 20-year background in print and television media both in front of and behind the camera. She was Owner, CFO, and Producer of an award-winning production company that specialized in on-location productions for national and international advertising campaigns for Fortune 500 Companies. She applies these production, social multimedia communication, marketing and advertising skills in environmentally sustainable ways within everything she is involved.
Shelley is a life-long practitioner of yoga; an experienced Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 200) certified yoga therapist since 2004 and teacher since 1999, specializing in yoga for childbirth called Yogabirth® and life-threatening illnesses called Yoga for the Heart. Her most profound teachers were Nischala Devi, founding developer of the yoga portion of The Dean Ornish Program for Reversing Heart Disease and co-founder of the award-winning Commonweal Cancer Help Program as well as Rachel Naomi Remen MD, the founder of The Healer’s Art and The Institute for the Study of Health and Illness (ISHI) at Commonweal.
